Asante Kotoko midfielder, Richard Boadu has remained confident of future success despite the club’s mixed results in the domestic football season.
The Porcupine Warriors are experiencing a roller coaster performance in the ongoing league season where they have managed to collect eight points from a possible 15.
They were kicked out of the MTN FA Cup in the round 64 stage after losing 1-0 to city rivals, King Faisal at the Baba Yara Stadium on Wednesday.
The playing body and the technical team have come under intense pressure following their exit but Richard Boadu says they are focused.
Asante Kotoko now have 20 points from nine games same as King Faisal and Aduana Stars but sit second on goal difference with a week seven outstanding against arch rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak.
They have tough hurdles in the next five games with Aduana Stars FC, AshantiGold, Berekum Chelsea, Medeama SC and Great Olympics lying in wait. The Porcupine Warriors claimed four opening wins against, Dreams FC, Bechem United, Bibiani Gold Stars, Eleven Wonders before being held to a goalless draw against Karela United in week five.
They picked just a point out of a possible six after losing 3-2 to King Faisal and drawing 1-1 with Real Tamale United in the next two games.
They however produced two wins against Legon Cities FC and West Africa Football Academy but must now deal with a hard nut in Aduana Stars this weekend in week 11.
