Head coach of Aduana Stars, Joseph Asare Bediako says he is rather sad and not under pressure after losing to Asante Kotoko in week 11.
The veteran coach led the “Ogya” Boys to their first ever defeat in over a decade against Asante Kotoko at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park on Saturday.
The two time champions had also not conceded at home to Kotoko prior to their week 11 clash but finally gave away that long standing record in a 2-0 defeat.
Asare Bediako becomes the first coach to lead Aduana Stars to that unwanted feat and he has been left sad.
“As for pressure, I will say no but I’m very sad because they will say you are the only coach who has been beaten by Kotoko.
“I’m sad, as for pressure it’s part of the job. It doesn’t bring any pressure on me, I’m sad for that record to be broken here.” Joseph Asare Bediako said.
Aduana Stars per the loss to Kotoko have gone two games without a win. They lost 1-0 to Medeama in week 10 at the Akoon Park before the Kotoko defeat at home.
They remain on 20 points same as King Faisal who will host Gold Stars at the Baba Yara Stadium with Kotoko jumping into top spot with 23 points and a week seven outstanding game against Hearts of Oak.
