Asante Kotoko striker, Franck Etouga has been left with all smiles after bagging his first hat-trick of the season.
The Cameroonian import scored three times as the league leaders, went past AshantiGold 3-1 at the Baba Yara Stadium in the “Asante Derby” on Sunday.
The hat trick is Etouga’s sixth in seven league games and a record for a first Cameroonian to achieve that feat in the Porcupine Warriors jersey.
The 20-year-old said: “I’m very happy, I scored my first hat trick for Kotoko, I’m very happy.
“I call all the supporters to help the team to win the Ghana Premier League.” Franck Etouga told StarTimes.
Asante Kotoko now sit top of the Premier League table with 26 points from 11 games with a week seven outstanding against arch rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak.
The two time African champions are away to Berekum Chelsea in week 13 at the Golden City Park next weekend.
