Hearts of Oak left back, Dennis Korsah’s heart and mind are heavy with disappointment after their 1-1 draw against Legon Cities FC on Saturday in the 2021/22 league season.
Isaac Mensah’s 11th minute header from Sulley Muntari’s well effected corner kick sent the Phobians ahead at the El Wak Sports Stadium in week 18.
Legon Cities caught the visitors pants down on the stroke of full time when substitute, Osmanu Amadu capitalized on Dennis Korsah’s sloppy defending to pull level.
The eleventh hour error has left the 25-year-old in despondency despite being named the MVP of the game.
“I’m very disappointed, then again me causing the team at this crucial moment and then at this very point.
“I’m disappointed for letting the whole team down but we will pick it up from there and then better ourselves and bounce back again,” Dennis Korsah told StarTimes.
“As I said we will go back and work on ourselves and hopefully we would try our best possible to take all the three points in that game.” Dennis Korsah told StarTimes.
The University of Cape Coast graduate has played three games for Hearts of Oak since joining them from now relegated Ebusua Dwarfs.
He has been adjudged MVP twice – first in their week seven outstanding goalless draw against arch rivals, Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium.
His debut ended in a 1-0 loss against city rivals, Great Olympics in week 16 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Hearts of Oak lie 6th on the league log with 26 points from 18 matches – eleven points behind leaders, Asante Kotoko.
