Head coach of Bechem United, Kassim Mingle wants to add Kotoko to their casualties at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park when they meet in week 19 on Tuesday.
The “Hunters” will host Kotoko, a side which beat them 2-0 in week two of the first round at the Baba Yara Stadium last year.
Bechem United are fourth on the 2021/22 Ghana Premier league log with 30 points – ten points behind Kotoko and Kassim Mingle is ready to upset the record Ghana Premier League title holders.
“They should send [their anger] to other teams but not us here in Bechem”, Kassim told ghanasportspage.
“We are not afraid of them and we are very much prepared for them. At our home ground, I don’t think they can even take a point from us.
“We are preparing very well for them. You know we’ve never lost a match in our home grounds this season so we have to maintain that record.” Kassim added.
Bechem United are yet to lose at home this season with eight wins in total, six draws and four defeats. A win will see them leapfrog Great Olympics into third with 33 points.
Kotoko go into the game on the backdrop of a 2-1 loss to arch rivals, Hearts of Oak in the 2022 President Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium.
