King Faisal FC head coach, Nurudeen Amadu has been left fuming over officiating after his side’s 1-0 loss to Aduana FC on Sunday.
King Faisal, who escaped relegation at the eleventh hour last season, were beaten 1-0 by two time Ghana champions, Aduana FC at the Baba Yara Stadium in week 19.
Bright Adjei’s well lobbed ball, five minutes into the game proved the eventual winner for the “Ogya Boys” which however did not go down well with King Faisal coach, Nurudeen Amadu.
“Very unfortunate, this is the first time me I’m talking about officiating, very bad officiating. “We are the only club which has not been awarded a penalty throughout the game, what is this?
“And look at the goal, everybody is talking about it. “You see this second round the GFA must be first on these referees because it’s just that bad.
“I have never talked about officiating, for the first time I will say it and it’s very unfortunate and the earlier they do something about it the better because second round people’s lives are at stake and so if you do some of these things, it mars the beauty of the game,” Nurudeen Amadu told StarTimes.
“It [Aduana’s goal] is an offside goal, then we had a penalty then he ignored it.
“Can you go to Dormaa and ignore such a thing and go free? “What are we talking about here? But they want us to talk about officiating so the least about it the better.
“I’m very disappointed today, even [referee] Daniel Laryea I’m disappointed about him.” Nurudeen Amadu added.
The defeat keeps King Faisal still in 5th with 29 points from 19 matches and will next make a trip to Obuasi as guests of AshantiGold at the Len Clay Stadium.
