Head coach of Legon Cities FC, Maxwell Konadu has said that, they were determined not to lose their week 19 game against Real Tamale United.
The Royals came from a goal down to draw 1-1 against the Premier League returnees at the Aliu Mahama Stadium on Saturday to consolidate points in mid-table.
The home side found the opener from Hearts of Oak loanee, Issah Kuka before the visitors pulled level through Mohammed Suleman to end the game at 1-1 after full time.
Maxwell Konadu said:
“We were very much determined not to lose and you can see from all over the pitch today.
“I am really impressed and I give all the praise to the entire team.” Maxwell Konadu said.
Maxwell Konadu has led his charges to three draws and two victories in their last five matches, building a 23 points haul in 11th position after 19 games.
They will face third place side, Great Olympics in week 20 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, March 13.
