Hearts of Oak’s latest kid on the block, Salim Adams has talked about the quest to see the club climb into the summit of the league table.
Adams, 19, has seen a drastic improvement in his play under coach Samuel Boadu in the 2021/22 league season.
He was adjudged the MVP in Hearts of Oak’s 2-1 win over West Africa Football Academy in week 19 on Wednesday at the Accra Sports Stadium and was elated at the victory.
“We thank God for winning the game [against WAFA]. “We have now started the second round and we have got our first win [in five matches].
Hearts of Oak travel to Dormaa as guests of Aduana FC in week 20 and the New Edubiase FC loanee is eying another three points on the road.
“I pray that we get another win in our away game.
“We want to climb up the league table, where we are is not good so we want to climb up the table.” Salim Adams said a post match press conference.
With 29 points from 19 matches, the Phobians sit 5th – 13 points behind arch rivals and leaders, Asante Kotoko.
