Head coach of Asante Kotoko, Prosper Narteh Ogum says winning a point against Bechem United in week 19 is not a bad result.
The Porcupine Warriors were held to a goalless draw by the Hunters at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Tuesday in a delayed week 19 fixture.
Notwithstanding the goalless draw, the Porcupine Warriors lie top of the league table with 42 points from 19 matches.
Prosper Narteh said: “Bechem [United] has some strength in the middle of the park, apart from that too, they are able to play some good long passes behind the defence.
“And we were able to prevent them from playing that way, actually we didn’t allow them to play within their strength.
“We forced them to play out of their strength and that gave us the opportunity to also control the middle of the game or the middle of the park.
“We has some decent chances we could have converted but then we couldn’t so a point on the road I think it’s ok because Bechem United is a very good side.
“They play very compact, they are very disciplined so gaining a point here I think it’s ok for it.” Prosper Narteh Ogum said at a press conference.
Kotoko will next host Bibiani Gold Stars in week 20 at the Baba Yara Stadium on Saturday March, 12.
