Hearts of Oak midfielder, Sulley Muntari believes concentration is key in reaching the desired height this season.
The Phobians, treble winners from last season, trail their bitter rivals, Asante Kotoko by 15 points after 20 games into the 2021/22 league season.
Muntari, who got his first goal from the spot in their 2-1 week 19 win over WAFA on Wednesday, says the focus should be on themselves and not Kotoko.
“We have to concentrate game by game as we did today [against WAFA].
“Kotoko is ahead but we need to look at we do not what they do, with all due respect to them.
“They are having a great season, we want to focus on game by game.” Sulley Muntari told StarTimes.
Hearts of Oak share 29 points with King Faisal and Berekum Chelsea but lie 6th on the table with better goals.
The 21 time champions lost to two time holders, Aduana FC by 1-0 in week 20 at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park on Sunday but without Sulley Muntari who missed the trip due to a slight injury.
