Sulley Muntari lays out plans to help nurture younger players

Former Black Stars midfielder, Sulley Muntari says he is at Hearts of Oak to help nurture the young players.

The 37-year-old joined the Phobians on a free transfer until the end of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.

Having won the UEFA Champions League and the Italian Scudetto with Inter Milan, the English FA Cup with Portsmouth, the former Liberty Professionals midfielder wants to pass on the experience to the youngster generation.

“Most of the young ones in here, I’m not here to get best player or whatsoever.

“My priority is to make sure that these kids have a good attitude when they are playing.

Sulley Muntari has gone on to make 6 appearances with a goal to his credit for the 21 time league champions.

He won his first trophy when Hearts of Oak defeated arch rivals, Asante Kotoko 2-1 to lift the President’s Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium.
