Head coach of Asante Kotoko, Prosper Narteh Ogum has alluded their week 21 goalless draw against Eleven Wonders to some unpleasant factors.
The young trainer led his side to the Ohene Ameyaw Park on Monday with the game ending in a stalemate.
Prosper Narteh admits both sides played well but was not happy with the nature of the pitch coupled with other factors.
“We played well, they also played well, both teams created some decent chances. “So I think it’s ok.
“We all know Eleven Wonders to be a very good side, a very difficult difficult venue, a lot of intimidation, a lot of threats and what have you.
“And the pitch you saw it yourself, not a good pitch. We try to keep the ball on the turf, it didn’t permit us so in the second half we resorted to a plan B where we had to keep the ball one-two-three and probably kick the ball behind the defence.
“So, I mean they are a very good side so it’s ok.” Prosper Narteh Ogum told StarTimes.
The points’ gap between Kotoko and second placed teams, Bechem United and Aduana FC have now been reduced to eight after 21 games played. Kotoko have 45 with Bechem United and Aduana FC sharing 37 points apiece.
