The first legs of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers will take centre stage from Friday with Ghana hosting rivals, Nigeria.
Ghana are eying a return to the global football festival after missing the 2018 edition in Russia with Nigeria chasing a fourth consecutive appearance.
Nigeria striker, Victor Osimhen knows the task won’t be easy in getting to Qatar later this year.
“We are ready to give our all but the game won’t be easy.
“Of course no team is easy in Africa, we have been surprised by Central Africa Republic and of course we are ready for this game.

“And I think we are ready, of course to be able to get the squad back, we are ready.” Victor Osimhen said after the training session at the MKO Abiola Stadium.
Osimhen will likely lead coach Augustine Eguavoen’s attack judging from his red hot form for club side, Napoli in the Italian Serie A.
He has netted 11 times from 20 league games plus four goals in five Europa League matches this season after returning from a face injury which took him out of the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon this year.
