Ghana coach, Otto Addo is hoping his squad can replicate the training tactics on the pitch against Nigeria.
The Black Stars host the Super Eagles in the first leg of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers at the Baba Yara Stadium on Friday, March 25.
Ghana is looking to return to the mundial after missing out on the 2018 edition in Russia.
Nigeria on the other hand are chasing a fourth consecutive appearance and that makes the encounter extremely tough for both sides.
Ghana held their final training session on Thursday and Otto Addo spoke about plans and tactics at the press conference.
“The players are ready, they are in good shape.
“I’m sorry to say and I was sorry for the people but we had to make some secret tactical training.
“But players adapted well and did well and I hope that we can show what we trained on the pitch tomorrow [Friday].” Otto Addo said at a press conference
The Black Stars will travel to the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja in four days for the return leg. The winner of both legs qualifies for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar later this year.
