Head coach Ghana, Otto Addo has praised the work rate of new boy, Felix Afena Gyan.
The AS Roma forward made his Black Stars debut in the first leg 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria at the Baba Yara Stadium on Friday.
The 19-year-old lasted 82 minutes in the goalless draw before a slight calf injury sent him out for Daniel Kofi Kyereh.
Otto Addo said: “Felix [Afena Gyan] did very well. “He created a lot of chances, very good runs, defensively gave all he has. “A lot of good pressure situations.
He did exactly what I wanted him to do, just unlucky maybe he didn’t score but this guy, he is 19-years-old and he is a diamond.” Otto Addo said at a post match press conference.
Ghana will travel to Abuja for the second leg against the Super Eagles on Tuesday, March 29 at the Moshood Abiola Stadium.
