League leaders, Asante Kotoko have two top games to clear in order to keep their title ambitions intact.
The record Ghana Premier League holders will play King Faisal in week 23 at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday – a side they lost 3-2 to in the first round in the first leg.
The next step is week 24 against arch rivals, Hearts of Oak on April 10 at the Baba Yara Stadium having produced a goalless draw in the first round in Accra.
These are daunting tasks but head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum sees the two games as normal league matches.
“They [two games] are not difficult games as you are seeing it.
“They are normal games, we will play them, the captain is not there.
“We try and see how we can sharpen the other central defenders to fit into the game plan.
“So to me we are ready and we are going to pick it game by game, we are very confident.” Prosper Narteh Ogum told StarTimes.
Asante Kotoko have 46 points from 22 games – eight points better than second placed clubs, Bechem United and Aduana FC.
