Head coach of Hearts of Oak, Samuel Boadu has complained about the poor nature of the Golden City Park pitch.
The Phobians were held to a goalless draw on Wednesday in match week 22 in the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.
The 21 time league champions failed to register a goal on target in the second half of the game and Samuel Boadu says the pitch did not allow them play good football.
“We came in search of the three points and not a point but with our game plan we were able to secure a point.
“We are not happy with the single point but we shall build on the point and prepare well for our next match,” Samuel Boadu told StarTimes.
“It depends on the nature of the game and the pitch itself.
“Over here, ball control is even difficult for us so if you don’t strategize well you could be taken by surprise.
“Although we could not shoot from distance and it’s because the pitch made it difficult for us to play good football.”
Hearts of Oak now have 33 points from 22 games and currently sit 6th on the league table. They will face Medeama on Saturday, April 2 at the Accra Sports Stadium in March week 23.
