Bechem Utd 1-0 Olympics: “My boys showed a fighting spirit in a lions den” – Annor Walker

Coach Annor Walker

Great Olympics head coach, Annor Walker is not giving up on the top four finish in the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.

The two time Ghana champions suffered a 1-0 loss against Bechem United in week 23 at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Monday.

The defeat is their second in last five games where they have claimed five points in those.

They remain in 5th with 36 points same as city rivals, Hearts of Oak and Medeama but that does not deter coach Annor Walker in aiming at the top four.

“I’m happy with my boys today, with the fighting spirit at this lions den which we all know was very good for me.

“So I’m happy with what I saw and I saw the positives.

Things I saw was, they were fighting, they were doing all that they could at least equalize the goal but it was just unfortunate they were not able to do that,” Annor Walker told StarTimes.

“We will complete [the season] in the top four and I know definitely we are going to be in the top four at the end of the season.” Annor Walker added.

Great Olympics will next host third placed side, Aduana FC in week 24 on March 10 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
