Kotoko v Hearts: “Fans will see a good game in Kumasi” – Gladson Awako

Hearts of Oak’s attacking midfielder, Gladson Awako is anticipating a tough clash against Asante Kotoko.

Awako has not been his better self since joining the Phobians from city rivals, Great Olympics in a 2-year deal.

He has played 14 games with a goal to his credit and believes the week 24 clash against Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium will come tough.

“We all know this game between Hearts and Kotoko, you know it’s not just about playing but you need to psyche yourself well.

“And as a team I believe we are ready and the team spirit too is good.

“Training, the games we’ve been playing, we keep improving game after game so I believe it’s going to be a good game in Kumasi.” Gladson Awako told StarTimes.

Hearts of Oak lie 4th on the 2021/22 league table with 36 points, trailing Kotoko by 13 points after week 23 games.
