Head coach of Hearts of Oak, Samuel Boadu is treating their week 24 clash against rivals, Asante Kotoko with the seriousness it deserves.
The Phobians are guests of the Porcupine Warriors on Sunday, April 10 at the Baba Yara Stadium in a third clash of this season.
Samuel Boadu led his charges to a stalemate against Kotoko in their first round meeting in Accra before producing a 2-1 score line to lift the 2022 President’s Cup.
Both sides go into the game with slim victories from week 23 with Hearts piping Medeama 1-0 in Accra and Kotoko recording same score line against city rivals, King Faisal at the Baba Yara Stadium last weekend.
Samuel Boadu knows what is at stake and is treating the game with all the necessary importance.
“We shall prepare very well and take a cue from the Medeama game.
“We were down a bit but we need to come up. “So with the Kotoko game, it’s about preparation, we shall prepare.
“In Kumasi, the field will decide and at the end of the day we shall see the better side.” Samuel Boadu told StarTimes.
Hearts of Oak lie 4th on the 2021/22 league table with 36 points, trailing Kotoko by 13 points after week 23 games.
