Head coach of Asante Kotoko, Prosper Narteh Ogum says it will be too early to say they have won the league title.
The record holders sit top of the 2021/22 log with 52 points, eight points better than second placed, Bechem United after 24 games.
Kotoko shocked rivals, Hearts of Oak 1-0 in week 24 at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday courtesy Franck Mbella’s penalty to keep hopes of ending an eight year trophy drought much alive.
With ten games to round up the season, Prosper Narteh believes there could still be surprises and they must stay focused.
“There are so many games to go so we need to stay focused.
“I will keep telling you guys that until the final whistle it is not over, we need to stay focused.
“Ten more games is 30 points, if a team is able to amass 30 points and add to his points, he can cause a surprise.
“So we need to stay focused and make sure that we pick it game by game and until the last game against Accra Lions in Accra, it is not over.
“So we need to still keep our focus and make sure that we do the right things on the fiel and off the field to make sure that we get the job done.” Prosper Narteh Ogum told StarTimes.
