Head coach of West Africa Football Academy, Guillermo Zaragoza is looking to shake off their 6-0 loss to AshantiGold in week 24 at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi on Sunday.
The Academy Boys suffered the humiliating defeat to further plunge them down the relegation ladder.
They host former champions, Berekum Chelsea at the Sogakope Park in week 25 and the Spanish coach already has plans to claim three points.
“I have experience in coaching so, you know I always have a 24 hour rule that after 24 hours you just have to look forward to the next game [after a defeat].
“So you let it [defeat] affect you for 24 hours and after that you have to focus on your next match.
“With the players this week we will be working psychologically more than anything else to prepare for our next match,” Guillermo Zaragoza told StarTimes.”
Speaking about the shocking defeat to AshantiGold last weekend, Zaragoza believes in the need to win points in order to step out of the drop zone.
“We have to take the points, the last four matches that we played here, we had so much hope, the technical team, everyone around the camp knows that we would a take points in this match because we’ve been performing well but this [6-0 loss to AshantiGold] is a big shock today.” Guillermo Zaragoza added.
WAFA lie 17th on the 2021/22 league table with 23 points from 24 games.
