Collecting four points in a club’s last five games is no good news and that’s the story of Ghana premier league side, Great Olympics.
The two time Ghana league champions have been poor lately – losing to Bechem United, Gold Stars and AshantiGold before a win over Aduana FC and a 2-2 draw at home to WAFA.
The “Dade Boys” coiled in their shells in week 26, leading to a 1-0 loss to AshantiGold with the defeat leaving coach Annor Walker with many questions.
“Sometimes you tell your players what to do, sometimes they do what they think is good for them.
“Because my right full back, I told him he is defending first before thinking of attacking but unfortunately he went and could not come back.
“They [AshantiGold] had to put the ball there for Yaw Annor to hit the net from there,” Annor Walker told StarTimes.
“It’s a painful defeat, I have to put it behind me and think of our next game in Techiman.
“So we go back to the drawing board, where the mistakes are we correct them and we move forward.” He added.
Great Olympics sit 5th on the log with 39 points from 26 games – a point behind city rivals, Hearts of Oak.
