Enugu Rangers fc goalkeeper, Seidu Mutawakilu has been talking to Radio Gold Sports about Hearts of Oak chances in next season’s continental campaign.
Kotoko will feature in the CAF Champions League after winning last season’s Premier League with Hearts returning to the Confederation Cup following their FA Cup glory over Bechem United.
Radio Gold Sports caught up with Mutawakilu who played for Kotoko at the youth level and later spent a season at Hearts.
The lanky goalkeeper has urged Hearts of Oak to give head coach, Samuel Boadu more time to perform.
“I have been following coach Samuel Boadu from Medeama before joining Accra Hearts of Oak.
“I have not worked with him before but I have followed his interview, his philosophy and most the things.
“He is a very young coach, he has the passion for the job and he will be a very good coach.
“Hearts of Oak need to give him time because football is all about time and patience.
“Hearts of Oak is a very big club, results oriented club and they want to win trophies.
“So it’s a big task for him but with patience and time, I believe what late coach Jones Attuquayefio did with the club, coach Samuel Boadu will repeat more than that and he will make the club great again.
“This is the second time going to Africa and the experience learned from the first one, I believe he will impart it into the second one.” Seidu Mutawakilu told Radio Gold Sports.
