“I don’t want to play for Legon Cities next season” – Ofori Antwi

Ghana goalkeeper, Eric Ofori Antwi has said that he would not want to continue his stay at premier league club, Legon Cities FC.

Ofori Antwi has not been in the good books of the clubs despite showing qualities last season.

Speaking to Enoch Kofi Adadevoh on KFM Television, the former Ghana U-20 goalkeeper said; “Yes it is true, and to be honest with you, I will not want to play for Legon cities next season.

“Despite signing two years contract with the club, I feel this is the right time for me to leave the club and look for another challenge elsewhere [probably] play for another team outside Ghana and that’s why I have taken this decision” [to leave Legon cities]

Asked again if rumors about his link to Nsoatreman FC is true he simply said “it is not true.”

Ofori Antwi has previously played for now relegated club, Amidaus Professionals before joining Asante Kotoko. He has had stint with Medeama SC.
