Veteran coach, Karim Zito has backed Hearts of Oak coach, Samuel Boadu to succeed in the 2022/23 CAF Confederation Cup.
The Phobians have qualified for the CAF Confederation Cup and are awaiting the winner between AS Douanes of Burkina Faso and ASR Bamako of Mali.
Samuel Boadu had a horrible experience in last season’s CAF Champions League and the Confederation Cup – exiting all at the last playoff stages.
Zito is confident the coach Boadu’s previous experience will help him next season.
“Yes, it should because we always have the opportunity to make amendments.
“That is what football is about, that’s the good thing about football.
“Nobody can tell me that he can win all matches, nobody will tell me he knows everything about the game.
“But when you go, you win, you lose or you draw, when you lose you always have opportunities to make amendments.
“So this is the big opportunity, the platform for him to tell people that, the first one that I went was lack of experience but this time I have experience, he can do it.” Karim Zito told Radio Gold TalkSport.
