Assistant coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, David Ocloo has jumped to the defence of central defender, Konadu Yiadom.
The former WAFA defender and Mohammed Alhassan marshaled the central defence of the Phobians which conceded 3-0 against AS Real Bamako.
Hearts suffered the first leg loss in Mali with the reverse fixture set for the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, October 16.
David Ocloo says the tall and lanky defender will come good on Sunday.
“Konadu Yiadom is a good player, football.
“Football in general, you have your off days and good ones and what happened is one of those bad days.
“But Konadu Yiadom is a brilliant player we all know him.
“We just pray that in Sunday’s match he will even do more.” David Ocloo told Radio Gold Talk Sport.
The Phobians must overturn the 3-0 loss in Mali to qualify for the next round of the competition they won in 2004.
