Ex-Kotoko midfielder, Daniel Nii Adjei has urged Ghanaian footballers to prepare for retirement while actively playing the sport.
Nii Adjei has completed his license D coaching course and will soon be done with the C before taking up the B and the A courses.
Nii Adjei spoke to Radio Gold Talk Sport.
“You have to plan, you have to know what to do because I don’t think it’s everyone that can go into coaching.
“We have a lot of things to do in football and outside football so it’s up to you to start planning because if you wait you may not get it as some people got it.
“My advice to all footballers is to start planning to do anything in football because if you don’t prepare and the time catches you unaware, it will be bad for you.
“You start early and you know what you want to do and you prepare.” Daniel Nii Adjei told Radio Gold Talk Sports.
Nii Adjei previously played for Congolese club, TP Mazembe, King Faisal and Elmina Sharks.
