Former head coach of Asante Kotoko, Bashir Hayford has urged Black Stars manager, Otto Addo to invite players based on their quality and current form.
The Borussia Dortmund assistant coach is yet to name his provisional squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup with the public anticipating a quality set up.
With several Ghanaian players dotted across Europe, Asia and the domestic league, Bashir Hayford implores the ex-Ghana forward to list quality materials for the global football festival in Qatar.
“If you are better than somebody at this particular moment, you should be used.
“Maybe tomorrow that person will also be better than another person and he will be used.
“So it’s all about the form and I’m talking about the current form.
“They should have a second look at it and compare the players they are inviting.” Bashir Hayford told Radio Gold Talk Sport.
The Black Stars are paired in group H alongside Uruguay, Portugal and South Korea.
