Ex-Ghana striker, Prince Tagoe has urged the Black Stars technical team to field active players at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The Black Stars must grapple with tough opponents, Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea in order to qualify for the round 16.
Tagoe, who appeared at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, says players who feature regularly for their clubs must be used at the mundial.
“This kind of tournament we play with much playing time because if you are good and in your team you are not playing, and you don’t have the playing time, you will be lacking in the World Cup.
“Match fitness is different from training, playing friendly matches and maybe sitting on the bench, it’s different.
“So if you don’t have playing time, it’s going to be difficult for you to perform very good in the tournament.” Prince Tagoe told Radio Talk Sport.
