Head coach of the Ghana’s male national team, Otto Addo has named local trio, goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Dennis Korsah in his provisional World Cup squad.
The Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak stars are part of the initial 55-man team that will be whittled down to 26 for the global football showpiece in Qatar.

The Black Stars are paired in group H alongside old foes, Uruguay, Portugal and South Korea.
The four time African champions will open their campaign against Portugal before clashes against Uruguay and South Korea.
Ghana is making a court appearance at the mundial having debuted in Germany 2006 – progressing to the round of 16.
A better performance was recorded in the subsequent appearance in South Africa 2010 where the team reached the quarter finals.
