Former Black Princesses defender, Blessing Agbomadzi is happy after playing a part in ASFAR’s CAF Women’s Champions League victory.
Her Moroccan club defeated title holders, Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies 4-0 in Rabat to win the title for the first time.
Blessing, who is last season’s finalist with Ghana’s Hasaacas Ladies, spoke exclusively to Radio Gold Sports.
“I am so much happy as an individual because it’s like a seeet revenge for me.
“Last year I was with Hasaacas Ladies and we were second and this same Sundowns scored us 2-0 in the finals so we couldn’t make it.
“So this time around, it’s a seeet revenge for me and I so happy and I feel so good and I’m so proud of myself right now.
“And definitely I’m looking forward to defending it next year.” Blessing Agbomadzie told Radio Gold Sports.
ASFAR of Morocco are the second club to win the title following the creation of the competition two years ago.
