Coach Maxwell Konadu maintained his unbeaten superiority over Hearts of Oak after leading his side, Legon Cities to a goalless draw against the Phobians in week 15 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The millennium champions have struggled to beat any club handled by the ex-Ghana international [Asante Kotoko and Legon Cities].
In nine games against Hearts of Oak, Maxwell Konadu has claimed four wins and five draws and he says any meeting against the former CAF Champions League winners is like a “war.”
“It has been a very difficult game for us because Hearts of Oak, they played so so well.
“We have to give them that respect.
“But even ten against eleven we were still pushing to try and steal the show.
“But having said that, it was a fairly balanced game but I think if we had maintained our composure, I believe we could have taken away the three points.
“All the same it’s good, one point against Hearts of Oak is not bad at all.
“I have nothing against Hearts of Oak, but when we are playing against them, it’s war time.”Maxwell Konadu told StarTimes.
