Hearts of Oak’s quest to keep a close gap on league leaders, Aduana Fc was given jolt following a barren result in week 15.
The Phobians were held to a goalless draw in Accra by Legon Cities, leaving them three points behind Aduana and one shy of second place Bechem United.
Head coach, Slavko Matic admits his charges didn’t deserve a point against the Royals.
“A lot of things we don’t need to do we did, we know exactly how they play but the reaction wasn’t good.
“How you play eleven against ten and somebody must take responsibility, we didn’t do that, a lot of mistakes.
“What I say is mentality, they [players] must change something fast.
“Patience and responsibilities we didn’t have that and we lost two points but we didn’t deserve the two points, I must be honest.” Slavko Matic told StarTimes.
The 2000 CAF Champions League winners are third on the standing with 25 points.
The Phobians could drop out of the top four should Accra Lions beat Great Olympics and Kotoko picking maximum points at Karela United.
They could go trophiless this season if they fail to win the league after suffering the MTN FA Cup elimination against Dreams fc.
