Head coach of Asante Kotoko, Seydou Zerbo has expressed worry over the club’s lack of poor scoring form in the last weeks.
The Porcupine Warriors have fired blanks in their last three games of all competitions – losing 2-0 to Dreams in Dawu and a goalless draw at Nsoatreman in league games.
A 1-0 loss to league leaders, Aduana Fc at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park bundled Kotoko out of the 2022/23 MTN FA Cup in round 16.
Zerbo’s words were interpreted by his assistant, Orlando Wellington.
“About goalk scoring, we couldn’t score a goal, it’s a deficiency which we are facing in the team now and we are going to rectify it.” Seydou Zerbo told StarTimes.
The Porcupine Warriors trail Aduana by seven points on the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League table and could go trophiless should they fail to defend the league title.
