Angola coach, Pedro Gonçalves has hinted that he is anticipating a tough game against Ghana on Thursday.
The Palancas Negras of Angola in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] in a doubleheader.
Angola will be hosted at the Baba Yara Stadium with kick-off scheduled at 16:00GMT.
Ahead of the game, Goncalves is expecting a tough game.
According to him, despite the change of coach, the playing philosophy will not change.
“We know the difficulties we are going to encounter, but we are ready to play a good game in Kumasi,” Gonçalves told reporters.
“It is obvious that Ghana has changed coaches but I believe there won’t be much change in what from their performance at the World Cup,” he added.
Both Angola and Ghana are expected to train at the Baba Yara Stadium later today before the game on Thursday.
The Black Stars are joint top of Group E alongside Angola with both teams with four points after two games.
