Hearts of Oak midfielder, Yaw Amankwa Baafi has praised the club’s technical team for discovering his versatility.
The 19-year-old has been deployed at an unfavourable right back position in a number of Premier League games ahead of experienced and former Black Stars defender, Samuel Inkoom.
Baafi has never disappointed in his new role and he credits the technical team for a yeoman’s job.
“I will be grateful to coach [Slavko] Matic and coach [David] Ocloo for discovering that potential in me because I never knew I can play like this at right back.
“All of a sudden they gave me the confidence and now I’m playing.” Amankwa Baafi told StarTimes.
Baafi has gathered 17 games under his belt this season with one assist to his credit after 22 BetPawa Premier League games. The Phobians currently sit 4th with 35 points.
