It is very important to study your opponent going into a tough football match or any sports competition and that is what Black Stars coach, Chris Hughton has done heading into the 2023 AFCON qualifiers against Angola.
The Black Stars host the Palancas Negras in the first leg at the Baba Yara Stadium on Thursday, March 23.
“As each coach will do, I’ve d studied them in their last five, six, seven games. Technically a very good team and of course the Portuguese influence, a lot of good technical players.
“So I’m in no doubt that it’s a strong and tough opposition so we have to plan for that.
“They can cause us a lot of problems and we have to play well.” Chris Hughton told the press.
The Black Stars share four points from two games just as Angola after two games and the return leg is set for March 27 in Luanda.
