Southampton defender, Mohammed Salisu will miss Ghana’s 2023 AFCON clash against Angola on Thursday March 23.
The 23-year-old picked up an injury at club level and the situation might rule him out of the first leg clash against the Palancas Negras at the Baba Yara Stadium.
“The only concern will be about Mohammed Salisu, there have been some concerns about him in the last few weeks, and He has had some difficulties.
“His club when he played last week, the club have used him sparingly because of that, because of such issues.
“So this is one that we have to consider so he will be the only doubt from the squad that we have and it will be something that we have to think about.” Chris Hughton told the press.
The Black Stars share four points from two games just as Angola after two games and the return leg is set for March 27 in Luanda.
