Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko captain, Godwin Ablordey has been appointed as the acting head coach for Ghana Premier League club, King Faisal.
The former midfielder’s appointmennt came after the club parted ways with Jimmy Corbblah on mutual grounds.
The premier league strugglers made the announcement through a statement released on Monday, March 27.
Ablordey was assistant to Corbblah at the “Insha Allah” club following his appointment in October 2022. T
After guding the club to 22 matches, Corbblah’s services was dispensed with.
King Faisal, currently in the 16th position on the Ghana Premier League table, has only managed to secure 25 points from 22 games.
The statement from the club read: “Assistant Coach Godwin Ablordey has been put in acting capacity until the employment of a new substantive head coach.”
