Hearts of Oak are back to winning ways in the Ghana Premier League after seeing off Accra Lions with a 1-0 victory on Wednesday night.
This comes after the Phobians last weekend suffered a 3-0 thumping at the hands of Karela United away from home.
Today at the Accra Sports Stadium, Hearts of Oak hosted capital rivals Accra Lions in a Week 24 encounter of the league campaign.
In a game that would be closely contested by both teams, neither side could find the back of the net in the first half despite the numerous chances created.
After recess, both Hearts of Oak and Accra Lions gave it their all in a bid to score to win the game.
Unfortunately, for the visitors and fortunately for the home side, a strike from Linda Mtange handed Hearts of Oak a narrow 1-0 victory at the end of the 90 minutes.
