Black Stars defender, Daniel Amartey is set to work with a new coach following the sacking of manager, Brendan Rogers by Leicester City.
Graham Potter’s sacking by Chelsea will spark huge interest at Leicester City, with the manager previously identified as a potential successor to Brendan Rodgers.
Chelsea have chosen to act just seven months after taking Potter from Brighton, the club’s huge spending spree failing to yield results, especially in the Premier League. Chelsea fell into the bottom half with their home defeat to Aston Villa at the weekend.
The news, which comes just hours after Rodgers was dismissed, will be significant for City. When they were riding high under the Northern Irishman and fearing he may be poached by one of the Premier League’s elite clubs, Potter was at the top of their list of potential replacements.
