Trouble seems to be bruing in the camp of defending Ghana Premier League champions, Asante Kotoko.
Reports in Kumasi indicate that the Chief Executive Officer, Nana Yaw Amponsah’s reign is facing stiff scrutiny and opposition from the board.
The club’s support base is sharply divided with the popular university fan group, “Porcupine Tertiary” threatening to boycott the remaining premier league matches.
In an Easter message contained in a press release however, Nana Yaw Amponsah called for calm.
Read the message below.
Asante Kotoko are 4th on the league table with 39 points from 25 league games, same as their arch rivals, Hearts of Oak.
The Porcupine Warriors however have a superior goal difference of 13 as against Hearts of Oak’s 3.
