English Premier League club, Chelsea, are looking for an above-average replacement for Senegalese goalkeeper, Édouard Mendy (31), who has been struggling with injuries.
As the “Daily Mirror” reported a few weeks ago, Mendy is said to have been told that he could leave the club in the summer.
Now it has come out that Dortmunder Gregor Kobel should be high on the scouting list of the “Blues.”
Dortmund are definitely fighting to keep the Swiss, who is one of the best goalkeepers in the league despite the huge blunder in the 0-1 draw in Munich.
A change for Kobel in the summer should not be a big issue anyway as the goalkeeper, who was already associated with Bayern after top performances in the spring, feels at home at BVB.
