West Ham are keeping an eye on USA midfielder of Ghanaian parents, Yunus Musah.
The Valencia man, who debuted for the club at 17, was with Arsenal from the age of nine to 16 before switching to Spain’s southeastern coast.
Musah who once trainer at English club Arsenal, put in some strong performances at the World Cup and has toiled alongside many of his Valencia teammates as the club fights to stave off relegation.
The New York native played 29 minutes in the team’s critical win vs. Celta Vigo, which put them three points clear of relegation with four games to play.
Musah has made 35 appearances for Valencia through 2022-23, with two assists to his name.
He was a critical piece of Gregg Berhalter’s squad at the World Cup in Qatar, starting in all four games before Holland eliminated the US in the Round of 16.
Musah debuted for the US Men’s National Team on November 12, 2020 — at the age of 17.
The 20-year-old played for England at youth level, from U15 up until U18 before switching his allegiance to the Stars and Stripes.
He was eligible to represent England, the US, Ghana or Italy at international level.
