Vice Chairperson of the Ghana Women’s League Board, Rosalind Amoh wants a sustained performance in the top flight following a mouthwatering final between Ampem Darkoa Ladies and Hasaacas Ladies.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies recorded a back-to-back glory after beating rivals, Hasaacas Ladies on 5-3 on penalty shootouts following a 1-1 draw at full time to claim the trophy.
The high level performance sent the entire Doctor Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Kumasi into a frenzy and Rosalind Amoh wants continuous top notch performance.
“What we want to see is the sustainability of this kind of performance because sometimes they come up and subsequent seasons they give up.
“But now that there are many more opportunities for the clubs which finish among the top fourand our clubs are actually building their capacity financially to be able to compete in Africa I’m next season the story will be different.” Rosalind Amoh told Radio Gold Sports.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies will represent Ghana in the WAFU Women Zone B competition to try and qualify for the CAF Women Champions League.
