Ghana midfielder, Thomas Partey has attracted interest from Italy according to multiple reports from England.
The 29-year-old Black Stars deputy captain has not been at his best lately with Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta preferring former Chelsea midfielder, Jorginho at the centre of events in the English Premier League.
Partey has been liked with a move away from the club with the Gunners set for a massive clear-out to make way for the arrival of key players to strengthen for next season’s European and domestic competition.
Partey began his professional career at Spanish club Atlético Madrid in 2013, going on loan to Mallorca and Almería, and returned to Atlético in 2015, with whom he won the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Super Cup in 2018.
In 2020, he joined Arsenal in a transfer worth £45 million, becoming the most expensive Ghanaian player of all time.
He went on to make 24 appearances, providing three assists without scoring a goal before capping similar outing the following term with 2 goals and an assist to his credit.
Partey has enjoyed quite a season this term having made 32 appearances with three goals scored so far,.
The Gunners came close to winning a first Premier League title since 2004, but were ultimately pipped to the post by a formidable Manchester City side.
