Midfielder of Hearts of Oak, Glid Otanga has urged the club’s followers to keep supporting them in these hard times.
The Phobians put up yet another poor performance in the penultimate game of the current season.
Hearts of Oak gave away a 1-0 lead to lose 2-1 to RTU at the Accra Sports Stadium in match day 33 – inflicting their 5th defeat in their last six games of the 2022/23 BetPawa Premier League campaign.
The record FA Cup holders currently sit 11th on 45 points with their last game of the season away to Berekum Chelsea.
Otanga was voted best player of the game and he had this to say.
“You know now it’s not easy for us.
“I want to tell our supporters that we don’t have any excuse because this is football, this is our job.
“So I want to tell our supporters not to get tired of supporting us, we need your support.
“We will go to Berekum Chelsea and give all our best.” Glid Otanga told Starimes.
