Midfielder of Hearts of Oak, Glid Otanga says loss of concentration caused their defeat against Real Tamale United.
The Phobians gave away a 1-0 lead to lose 2-1 to RTU at the Accra Sports Stadium in match day 33 – inflicting their 5th defeat in their last six games of the 2022/23 BetPawa Premier League campaign.
The record FA Cup holders currently sit 11th on 45 points with their last game of the season away to Berekum Chelsea.
Otanga was voted best player of the game and he had this to say.
“You we prepared for this game in all conditions, the technical staff did everything for this game.
“So when we came we started with good intention in the game.
“I think we lost concentration in the game and that’s why the coach said we should be more focused in the second half.
“The first 15 minutes we do more wok but we lost focus and that why we conceded the goal.” Glid Otanga told StarTimes.
