Assistant coach of King Faisal, Godwin Ablordey is hoping that they will win the protest case filed against Tamale City to help them stay in the Ghana Premier League.
The GFA Disciplinary Committee has already dismissed King Faisal FC’s protest case against Tamale City FC in relation to their betPawa Premier League Matchweek 30 game which was played at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
King Faisal FC protested against their opponent for fielding an unqualified player,Isaac Mensah in the said match who they claim has another registration in the system as Jireh Kojo Nissi.
The Disciplinary Committee however ruled that the player Isaac Mensah who played in the said match was duly qualified to play.
King Faisal are however bent on claiming the boardroom points of Godwin Ablordey is hoping that it works out.
“We need to be focused and think positively.
“We have a protest in the line, we are not thinking about that.
“We are thinking about the last match and we make sure we get all the three points and we take it from there.” Godwin Ablordey told StarTimes.
The “Insha Allah” Boys have officially been relegated to the Divisione One after collecting 39 points from 33 games.
They sit 17th on the table with a match to finish the season.
